     La Ronge Wild Rice is a wild rice processing company that serves growers and harvesters in northern Saskatchewan. The Meadow Lake Tribal Council owns 20% of this operation. Other owners include the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, the La Ronge First Nation and a number of other smaller shareholders.
     Located in the town of La Ronge, SK., this facility takes wild rice in its harvested form (green rice) and processes it into its consumable form (product rice). Various MLFNs producers and marketers work closely with La Ronge Wild Rice to process their crops into marketable goods.
     Since its creation, La Ronge Wild Rice has prospered and earned a reputation as an efficient and modernized operation. With responsible management in place, La Ronge Wild Rice will continue its dedicated service to wild rice growers in the region.
